Acer AOD250 Windows 7 Netbook for under $300
So Windows 7 seems to have made everyone happy, from consumers to critics to Microsoft bankers. We’ve found the cheapest Windows 7 netbook out on amazon and the only one retailing for less than $300.
The Acer AOD250 (3-cell version) includes the Windows 7 Starter OS and is available on amazon for $299.99 in five colours – blue, black, white, pink and purple.
The AOD250 is a thin netbook with a great viewing screen, fast wireless, nice keyboard and excellent webcam. This particular model features the Windows 7 Starter, an Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and a 3-cell Li-Ion battery lasting about 2.5-3 hours.
Customer review off amazon:
“My wife loves her net book, very thin, light, bright screen and clear. Good wireless and fast with windows 7 light. With 160gb hard drive she can store what ever she wants. Seems to last a long time on a charge. Only thing she wishes it had is integrated bluetooth. These have come a long way, I have an asus and this one compares well with it. Looks well built and has the access to upgrades such as hard drive and ram on the bottom.”
