Acer Aspire One 752
Acer isn’t letting ASUS’s new models hog all the limelight at this years CeBIT. They unveiled a souped up netbook with an 11.6 inch screen with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution (720p HD), Intel Celeron 743 ULV processor along with Intel 4500MHD graphics and upto 4GB of RAM.
This netbook is quite similar to Acer’s 1410 and 1810 in design. On a by-note, the 1410 and 1810 are also almost identical in looks but the 1810 features more RAM and a higher powered processor among their technical differences.
One of the reasons that this netbook has probably been incorporated into the Aspire One branding, is that Acer wants consumers to see this as a multimedia rich netbook, rather than a dumbed down laptop. It only makes sense considering the popularity of netbooks over notebooks at this point of time.
Other specifications include HDMI output, Bluetooth, WiFi, 320GB HDD, Gigabit Ethernet and optional 3G. The Acer AO752 also features a multi touch trackpad and 5 hour battery life. There’s no indication of pricing, but this slim netbook will probably see retail in May 2010.
