Acer’s Pine Trail addition: the Aspire One 532h
Acer’s been a bit slow to jump onto the Pine Trail bandwagon, with only one announcement of the same - the AO532h (Read the review of the 531). We earlier wrote up the impending release of the Pine Trail featuring Aspire One 532h, but a few new details have come to light that justify another post. This makes what Acer is doing seem pretty smart with one single product offering at an excellent price. Read on.
Acer’s released battery details. The 532h will come with an 8 hour 6-cell Li-Ion battery powered at 4400 mAh and one at 5600 mAh which should last 10 hours. Another feature we’ve just learned of is a multi-touch trackpad. Nice.
But the biggest piece of news is the indicative pricing on amazon at $299. We were way off mark with our $490 price. Wonder what I was smoking that day. Anyways, this is a really attractive price for a very nice looking netbook. Let’s do a recap of the specs:
