ASUS 1000HA Review
Rating: 5.5/7

The ASUS 1000HA was released in late 2008 and is still better than a number of netbooks released in mid 2009. It might not be as stylish, but it stills packs one powerful punch – combining great specifications and excellent battery life – all in one solid and sturdy case.
The ASUS 1000HA has a large keyboard which is at 95% the size of an actual laptop keyboard – Whether in the office, at school, or in a coffee shop, touch typing on a keyboard this size is easy in comparison to other netbook keyboards. This is a great positive for those who will need a keyboard to type on anywhere.
Due to this six cell battery, the ASUS 1000HA is slightly larger and stronger than a lot of other netbooks today – despite it’s surprisingly small touchpad, the ASUS 1000HA is well-built netbook which will not bend on your first few days of use.
ASUS 1000HA Top Features

- Easily Upgradable – Upgrading is easy even for those with little experience. You can access the wireless card, the single ram slot and the hard drive simply by opening a large panel.
- Screen – A Matte screen which has less glare indoors and outdoors in comparison to a lot of new netbooks which have glossy screens.
- Battery life – A battery life of 4 to 5 hours
- Keyboard – A large 95% comfortable keyboard.
ASUS 1000HA Netbook Review – Drawbacks and things to keep in mind
- Design – It is not as thin and stunning as the new ASUS seashell design netbooks.
- Touchpad – Fairly small and stiff
- Case – Glossy cover will attract fingerprints and smudges.

- Looks and Design – 0.5 star. The ASUS 1000HA looks good but it is not a standout in terms of design.
