ASUS 1005P and 1001P

We reviewed the ASUS 1005PE, which is basically an upgrade to the 1005HA. The 1005PE features Intel’s new Pine Trail Atom N450 processor, Bluetooth and a multi-touch trackpad. This isn’t the only model that ASUS is coming out with though and they also have the 1005P lined up for release.
The 1005P will feature the same specifications as the PE, but without the Bluetooth and with a 160GB Hard Drive instead of 250GB. In a press release featuring these two models, ASUS also mentioned the 1001P. There were no follow-up details regarding this model, but we figure it will also run on the Pine Trail platform.
