ASUS 1215N out to rule the pack
The ASUS 1201N gained popularity with its nVidia graphics that was somewhat unique to see in a netbook when it was released. But manufacturers have come a long way since then, with Microsoft and Intel seeming to have lifted some of their restrictions on netbook hardware.

ASUS aren’t one to be left behind and they are out with a more impressive version that they like to call the Eee PC 1215N. This new release will feature a dual-core processor, but one still in the Atom series from Intel. It will in all probability be the N500. Also onboard will be the nVidia 2 ION graphics chipset which includes the Optimus switching technology to prolong battery life. The Atom chips have a built in Intel graphics processor and the Optimus will allocate energy to the ION package only when it really needs to, thus saving and extending battery usage.
The ASUS 1215N should be out very soon. We’re expecting a June release date and are looking forward to get our hands on it! Are you?
