Fujitsu announces new 10 inch Hi-Def Pinetrail netbook

Along with the Dell Mini 10, Fujitsu has announced the launch of its Intel Atom 450 netbook – the MH380. This one’s been officially announced in the Philippines though. In the US it’s still found only on FCC web pages.

We saw a few photos and like what we see. There’s a smoothed chrome-ring outer surface and the interiors look quite nifty as well. The nice thing about this 10 inch netbook is that it has a screen with a 1366 x 768 resolution. This is indeed a rare thing to find on so small a netbook and will make a difference to consumers, the larger res screen making browsing so much easier. The MH380 will also feature a 250GB Hard drive and 2GB of RAM.

We have no idea about the price and availability dates at this point of time, but know that the netbook will be shipped in gorgeous brown, ivory white and black diamond. Really? Can’t we have non adjectivised colors!

Anyways, the specifications for the MH 380 look like this.

Specifications

  • Atom N450 (1.6GHz) processor
  • 10.1 inch 1366 x 768 display (glossy, 200 nits)
  • 2GB RAM
  • 250GB HDD
  • 1.3M Webcam
  • 802.11n Wi-Fi, 10/100 LAN, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
  • 2.9lbs weight
  • 6-cell battery (capacity unknown)
