HP Mini 5102 announced
The HP Mini 5101 was our best business netbook for last year’s christmas period. Now HP have announced an update – the Mini 5102 which features the (surprise, surprise) Intel Pineview Atom N450 processor. Thankfully though, that is not the only thing that constitutes THIS update, with HP offering up a wide range of customization options, including a touch-screen capable version!
The choices abound and start with a WSVGA or WXGA screen. You can add in the Broadcom HD video acceleration card, a 4 or 6 cell battery and wide range of OS’ – Windows 7 Starter and Home Premium, Windows XP, FreeDOS or SUSE Linux. You can also choose the optional handle but this needs to be decided at time of ordering.
The HP Mini 5102 will be available for the base price of $399, but once you add-in a few customizations don’t be surprised if the price starts to sky-rocket.
