Introducing Netbook Review …
After running a netbook blog for a few months we realized there was a need for a blog focused on helping people make good decisions about what netbook to buy.
While there are a few companies making solid, solid netbooks – Asus, Acer, Samsung, etc. there are also a lot of companies entering the market and the range of netbooks available is exploding.
There are various types of netbooks and more types coming out every day.
This creates the need to help customers decide between the numerous choices available. There are a lot of reviews that miss out on some key netbook facts i.e.
- 90%+ of netbooks use Windows XP or another flavor of Windows.
- Windows 7 works well on netbooks (given a certain base capability which most new netbooks have).
- Linux based netbooks get returned a lot (as people struggle to understand them).
These and many other essential pieces of netbook information should be a part of any netbook review and should be part of the information that every prospective netbook buyer understands.
This blog and the netbookreview.com site will help customers make smart decisions by providing definitive, comprehensive netbook reviews.
Fundamentally we’ll be looking at various netbooks, dissecting their value proposition, scanning user reviews and our own experiences, and getting you all the critical information in one place. Do let us know if we’re helping you enough. Thanks for visiting.
