Lightest 10 inch Netbooks
One of the biggest advantages of netbooks is their portability, which in a nutshell means that they weigh about half as much as notebook/laptops. For a lot of business travellers, including people who commute to work with their computers – a light netbook is the perfect solution. Of course, we also think there’s a minimum size limit that should be ascribed to a working computer and we’ve chosen a screen size of 10 inches. The battery is another thing which makes a difference, so we’ve split this list up into 3-cell and 6-cell batteries.

- Acer AOD250* – 2.35lbs (Read our review here)
- Asus 1005HA – 2.4lbs (Read our review here)
- HP Mini 1137 – 2.4lbs

We’ve included old models of netbooks that are still sold in our list as well. If you want to know the models available with Windows 7, we’ve marked them with the *. We’ve also stopped the list at 2.75lbs because most other netbooks come in at 2.8-2.9lbs and the list would include most of the population in that case! Some of our favourites which come in at 2.8lbs include the Acer AOD250, Asus 1005HA, Samsung N140 and Samsung GO 310.
