MSI announces new Pinetrail netbooks

They just keep coming. And this is just the beginning. MSI has announced two new netbooks as part of their Wind range – the U130 and U135. Both netbooks feature the Intel Atom 450 Pinetrail chipset and MSI claims this will increase battery life by 15%. Both the U130 and U135 netbooks sport 10.1-inch LED backlight displays with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The U130 will have 160GB HDD storage while U135 will offer 250GB HDD storage.

The netbooks are also Wi-Max capable, although finding networks will be a task in some places. The U130 comes in white and black. The U135 in silver, black, blue and red. The indications are that the U130 will retail at about $370 and the U135 at $470.
