NEC VersaPro Ultralite Review

NEC VersaPro Ultralite Netbook Review – 5/7

The 10.6 inch NEC VersaPro Ultralite netbook is a Japanese machine that is also one of highest performing, thinnest and versatile netbooks around. It’s unbelievably high priced at $1800, but certainly packs in some nice specifications only seen on the most recently released netbooks.

NEC VersaPro Ultralite Netbook Review – Our Recommendation

Overall, if you can afford it and are able to get your hands on one, the VersaPro Ultralite is a good netbook to buy. The design may not be stunning but it is thin and can do more powerful computing than your standard netbooks. Add this to the fact that you get Windows Vista bundled in, and you will find yourself with a fairly well rounded package. $1800 is still ridiculously steep though.

We are still unsure about the NEC VersaPro Ultralite netbook’s availability in the US, but you can currently buy the netbook in retailing stores in Japan.
