Speed Racer: Acer Ferrari One available for pre-order
It’s been a few months since we heard about this combination, and its finally available on amazon for pre-order. While we’ve not been big advocates of high powered auto brands tying up with PC makers, we’ve come to accept that it’s a brilliant item for some people, and a complete hit and miss for others. In this crazy consumeristic world, it’s all about choice no matter if it doesn’t make much sense.
Acer’s Ferrari One is a bit on the pricey side of netbooks, but at least its got some souped up specs. The processor driving this netbook is a 1.2GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core L310 and theres a huge 4GB of RAM preloaded. Racecar indeed. The graphics card is a Radeon HT3200, there’s a 250GB HDD and the screen is a nice 11.6″ widescreen led-backlit LCD.
The Acer Ferrari One FO200 is available on amazon for the reasonable price tag (taking into account the specs and the fact that Ferrari is involved) of just under $600.
