3. Acer AOD250-1695 Windows 7 Netbook

This is a really nice looking Acer netbook with a good keyboard and trackpad. The outer body is sleek and the AOD250 is one of the thinnest and lightest netbooks out there. It weighs in at 2.8lbs and that’s with the charger included! The monitor on this netbook is a beauty and the screen displays colors perfectly. The best part about this Windows 7 netbook is that it’s available for under $300. Of course that’s for the 3-cell version. The 6-cell battery that lasts longer, costs a bit more. 4. Toshiba Mini NB205 Windows 7 Netbook

That was our list of the top 5 netbooks for this christmas. We’ve focused mainly on Windows 7 netbooks and this is because whereas Windows XP was kept around because Vista was such a dud, Windows 7 will render it obsolete sooner or later. Happy shopping!
